I'm looking at getting Muffler Eliminators "straight pipe" or Muffler Eliminators With Chambered Pipes. What is the difference? Sound? Performance? Please help, I'm looking to purchase soon. Also, where is a good place to buy these items?

The only thing I can see with chambered pipes is it making it louder under idle, and WOT. If there is not a price difference you might want to try the chambered ones, it might give you a little more of a bark under a load. I am not sure where you can buy them though.

I have been lead to believe that the chambered give a deeper tone than the others. However, the chambered I've found from Mid America is upwards of $200 and I'd rather find them cheaper IF possible.

chambered pipes are suppose to bounce the noise vibrations back into eachother to neutralize the noise itself to a lower note.

performance wise? i've heard upto 50 hp due to the stock mufflers holding alot of HP back. i would say more like 30 maybe but it definetly makes a difference in both HP and Torque.
