I am a C-3 owner who is looking to purchace a 67 327/350HP roadster. What trouble spots do I look for?

you have a beutiful car
I love the yellow color

What to look for, beside the numbers witch your probably allready aware of.One of the major problems c2 have is frame rust up near where the rear trailing arms connect to the frame.

About the same things as your C3 actually........
(Frame, rust locations ETC.)
Take a Parts catalog along and get an idea what will be needed,
and at what cost.
If your very-very interested, drive the car.
Otherwise say thanks, and good bye.
It should be solid, and rattle free.

I agree with the above posts - and while you are driving/inspecting - make sure the guages, turn signals, radio, A-C-heater all work - the stuff is expensive and a PITA to replace.

Put the headlamp assemblies (if any) up and down. If you want numbers to match - bring a list (or take an NCRS judge with you)and don't forget the expen$ive carburetor numbers. Look for leaking calipers. Rock the wheels in and out at the top and listen for clink/clank (bad bearings).

trouble spot

try to shake the seats to see if they seem loose.. If so, the rails are badly rusted and that will be an indication of all the ****ing rust in the universe that you may find. BEEN THERE< DONE THAT,
