Whats it worth - 81 used ring and pinion gears

Anyone have an idea? Is there any demand for them? I've never seen one on ebay.

Anyone know the supplier? Would it be a dana set since its a dana diff?

What's it worth? Virtually nothing.

Once a ring and pinion have accumulated some miles, they have developed a wear pattern that will be disturbed if installed in a different housing.

Given the right set of circumstances, the gears would then wear very quickly.

Took much risk (in my book) to ever consider installing used gears.

I agree, unless you're using known good used gears why chance it. It's like going to a swap meet and finding a used cam for $50,pay little more and get new parts. Ring & Pinion list for around $260 new but if you know someone in the automotive business they should be able to get them for under $200.

I've got the old ones that i need to get rid of. I just put in a new set of precision.
