Proud poppa to a beautiful 1988 Callaway Corvette
Why would anyone remove the heart and soul of a Callaway engineered vehicle only to replace it with something from LPE? That has to be some kind of sin.:nono No pictures, unfortunately.

Don't get me wrong though, Lingenfelter does some incredible work and I would be ecstatic to own anything that comes out of their shop.

Anyway, check it out:

BTW, I hate Mozilla Firefox... Switching back to IE very soon.

How could you hate Firefox?

Maybe that guy wanted some extra displacement for his TT? Is the car still turboed? The ad is unclear, but the 550hp seems to suggest it is. It's my understanding Lingenfelter has done some work for Callaway in the past, so maybe it's not an unforgivable sin? :)

:naughty: :naughty: :naughty: I know who owns that car now.

The original Callaway motor came with it.:upthumbs

;) ya I kinda of figured that one out too! Have been patiently waiting to hear the rest of the story, I knew I was a day late. besides I really have to finish 59 before anymore!!! :upthumbs

It sounds like a heck of a deal, though! Two engines, one from each of the most highly regarded engine builders in the Corvette world... All for $24K, wow.:beer

What's the story on this car, Josh? The ad implies that this car might have been used at the 1/4 mile track once or twice;). Do tell.

As for Firefox... As a whole, it's really a pretty nice browser. I get a lot fewer malicious programs on my system, but it does have it's quirks. I don't like the way it will not let me copy and paste when posting on the forum, so I either have to type the link or use IE to post a link (this could be due to my settings as well...). Also, never have I been able to download the Macromedia Flash Player plugin (not that one really needs it) that installs so easily on IE.
