Just pulled my rear spindles out of the trailing Arms...not to debate the slip vs interference bearing-fit but, mine are 'slip-fit' and there is no evidence of any problems > bearings and races look GREAT!

Onto grease...for the bearings 'prior service' I used 'Sta-Lube EP Hi-Temp black moly grease'. After many years & miles it also looked pretty darn good, not dried out or caked-up, but still...greasy! lol

However...I will be removing all traces of the old grease and moving onto something else...any recommendations???

*I do have Lucas Red-N-Tacky in my grease gun...but not sure if I want to use it.

No synthetics please!

I use Timken automotive bearing grease, which looks and feels just like the Red & Tacky, in all my rear bearing builds. You can use the red & tacky without concern.
I stopped using Mobil 1 a few years ago.
