Anyone here give me some insight as to changing the wheel bearing on my 2000 C5? I've got experience with older vehicles but this will be first with the vette. I am going to replace rotors and pads soon so since I am feeling some play in the front right wheel with slow hard left turns I thought I'd do both bearings and brakes. I'm hoping it's pretty straight forward as in the "68 Camaro", but I wonder about all the High Tech stuff thats connected to each wheel.

Thanks,
Rob

front or rear ?

Front is where I think I need them but will probubly do both sets.

fronts are easy and the rears aren't that bad....fronts : pull caliper mount including wires, then pull the bolts from the back of the spindle and plop.....rears are a bit tougher and hopefully someone can cut and paste a page from a manual.....

I am in the process of replacing the front wheel bearings in my '71 . Will the process be the same or similar ? I drilled out the bad rotor , have a new one,
replacing the front pads and hoses , decided it would be a good time to
replace wheel bearings .
Thanks for the help on my rotor problem .
