Welcome to the forum :w Look them up on Ebay and be patient, you can get them much cheaper. I love mine :cool

GY F1 D3's 275/40/17 front on the 9.5's 315/35/17 rear on 11's. These tires on backorder still as far as I know, took me about 2 mos. to get them after order with Tire Rack, who seems most able to get them and at the best price.

These things handle and ride unbelievably. And they are smokin' hot in the rain

I tried buying these tires from Tire Rack in November, they were on backorder.
Then I went to a Goodyear dealer, they said they were on "national" backorder.

I decided to buy Firehawks, no regrets--they are great.

Another wheel vendor

Moonunit451, you have some nice looking tires and wheels on your vehicle. I too am shopping for the same wheel but will probably keep 9.5" all around. The black wheel is a good contrast against the white car.

Does anyone have any experience with OE Wheel Distributors out of Sarasota, FL? They have a lot of items on Ebay. Only problem is that the center caps are chrome not black on the black wheel however the price is ~$500 cheaper.

Thanks,

I've purchased two sets from AFS and got very good service from them. The first set was 9.5"x17's for my 92 vert a few years ago and last year I got a set of 9.5"x17 black blems for my 87 autocross car.

Both sets of wheels were excellent and the chrome ones for the 92 were nearly flawless. I have had no reason to deal with their customer service dept as the wheels were excellent, no shipping damage and came in the time promised.

You can find good deals on eBay, but I tried to bid on 3 separate wheel sets for my 87 and got sniped each time. I was looking specifically for black wheels with the 38mm offset and no tires so those were fairly hard to come by. I called AFS and they told me that blem wheels were shipped at no cost so I thought it was worth the small extra cost over "maybe" finding an eBay set.

Didn't need a whole lot of weight to balance the tires but if you are keeping your tires, find a shop that uses the Hunter GSP9700 balancing system. This will save you a lot of grief in getting a good balance job:

I have noticed that the spokes on the ZR-1 type wheels have a flatter face than the OEMs or AFS. I got the AFS 17x11 in silver with the narrow rim cut to match my CE's OEM 17x9.5 wheels. The AFSs came fast, balanced well and have held up nice for a year. I have Nitto 555 DRs all the way around. Talk about grip! My only issue with AFS is that the narrow rim cut doesn't seem available anymore to match OEM ZR-1s or \GSs
