When are C-6's going to start showing up?

I know the new model year 'vettes are usually out the begining of August, are any out yet or when are they going to be released?

I was at my dealer last week looking for some C6's. He told me they should be arriving at his dealership around September.

C6 Corvette Public Production started on July 19th. I was in Bowling Green from July 21 thru 25, and toured the assy plant on July 21. During that visit I found out the plant is building sequence numbers in the 400s. I also found out my build sequence then, and have done a follow up on my car since then. As of last Wednesday, July 28th, my Silver Coupe has been painted, and the frame welded.

Now, to answer your question.....Wil Cooksey (Corvette assy plant mgr) told the attendess of the Z06 Fest that no cars will be shipped until the quality and build process is absolutely top notch. As far as I know, shipping has not started yet. I'll post more as I learn more.

Btw, I have the first coupe order from Les Stanford Chevy. My TPW is July 26th. Stanford is the 2nd largest Vette dealer in America, so I should get one of the first C6 Coupes....You bet I'm excited!

I seen a bright yellow 05 a couple days ago.Kinda neat looking lol had to get a better look so i followed him on the off ramp. come to find out his is a real low # car like in the low 100s if im not mistaken from what he told me.
