I'm in search for a L79 block for my 65 vette. The car has a production date of Sept 64. I'd like to find a block date stamped to correspond with my production year. Can you help?

are you a member of NCRS? If so, or know someone who is, check out The Driveline publication. LOTS of stuff including engine blocks or complete motors of various date stampings sold in there

I went looking when I was doing my motor last year and I found a bunch of guys in Hemmings... I think if I remember correctly for a bare block magged and stamped it was close to 1k... If you don't have a Hemmings or can't find one I can look up the info I had from last year.... Dave..
