Where is the directional flasher?

Sounds crazy but I cannot find the directional flasher to replace it. My four-way is on the fuse block and there is suppose to be another under the dash, but where? After two years of an undercarriage restoration, if I don't get these directionals to work, no inspection. Brake lights and four way work and bulbs are all good. Light goes on when directional is activated but no flashing. After this one I have to sort out my windshield wiper dilemma. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Hi Paul,
Check behind the passenger side of the dash. Those things are never where they are supposed to be.
