WHERE TO BUY 1989 PARKING BRAKE HANDLES

My parking handle pawl got bent to the point where it no longer contast the unlocking pawl. I have searched most of the parts suppliers I know. Does anyone know if these assemblies are still produced or where I can purchase a new or used assembly. Otherwise i guess I could try and bend the pawl back into shape but would need a new handle bolt (a littel stripped on the head).

You might also try the <<GASP>> dealer !
I just got the plastic cover for my 89 parking brake from the dealer - Paul Chevrolet, Ashland PA - for about $20. Haven't installed it yet as it requires entire seat frame removal. Dealer also responds to phone orders and will ship. Tell him Tony Long sent ya. Dealer's son collects and restores Corvettes.

I think this is the outfit that I was reading about on CF and if it is he will rip you off. BUYER BEWARE
