Grand Sport Where to get a good deal on a new 2012 Grand Sport coupe?

For discussions related to a Grand Sport Corvette.
As I said, I did send them two e-mails...and then never heard from them.

Something's wrong there - maybe they never got your emails (email server?) for some reason.
I was this || close to making a purchase (and we were only there to "look") this past Summer. We sat down with
Ron who went over all the numbers on a 2012 convertible, but the color had me backtracking when it came to pulling
the trigger on a deal.

There was absolutely NO pressure - Ron went over several downpayment scenarios and at the end I apologized for
"wasting his time" and told him I had to think about it - not a problem. He was an absolute gentlemen and he LOVES
his Corvettes - as does Tommy Tompson Jr.

Tommy sent me an email a couple of days later asking me about my experience, and when i told him the color
(orange metalic) wasn't what I was hoping for (hemi/hugger orange) he offered me ~10K off a brand new 2013.

I'll definitely go to MacMulkin if I decide to buy one this winter.

It's an absolutely beautiful facility and the people are top notch.

And I don't blame you one bit, but you're in MA...and apparently got to talk to a live person. I'm in WI, and a lot closer to Coughlin/OH. Since I made my decision to hold off for now on my purchase, I have continued to beat the bushes with AutoTrader, etc. This morning I noticed that MacMulkin has the exact car that I would have ordered if I had wanted an anniversary package...and at an even better price than Coughlin/OH quoted me. The problem is, that while the options listed on the window sticker were perfect, all of the photos of the car show a car with black headlights on it...even though they weren't listed on the window sticker. Mismatched headlights just kills the whole car for me. I could have ordered the exact car that I wanted from a place just over 300 miles from here. Now, instead, I'm looking at an inexact car that's over 800 miles away! I hope I don't regret not ordering a car...

2013 gs

After being told at end of September BY CHEVY AREA REP that it would be unlikely that Chevy could satisfy a special order on 2013 GS due to fact that the 2013 production run is ending early due to C7 conversion, my dealer & I thought we should order anyway, as we could not locate a close match anywhere for what I specifically wanted. Order was placed 2 weeks ago. 8 days after placing the order, the car was "queued for production", which means I'M GETTIN' THE EXACT CAR I ORDERED. Dealer has a production date of Nov. 12. Even management doesn't know what's goin' on!! Dealer was told that even un-allocated orders can be placed until end of THIS month. FYI - I ordered black manual coupe with heritage package (red stripes and red & black interior), 3LT, dual mode exhaust, magnetic selective ride, red calipers, ZR1 spoiler, black wheels, indoors GS car cover. With dealer discounts and rebates, I'm gettin' 10k off MSRP. One last thing - as we get closer to end of 2013 run, certain options might become unavailable, so if anyone is interested in ordering, don't wait too long.
