Where to get a solid targa top at?

Have been looking for a solid silver targa top for my 96 CE....mainly on ebay with not much luck. Got one, but it arrived damaged, (but I think it was shipped damaged). Is there another source other than Astro Tops?

I will eventually be ordering one as I only have the clear top. I did buy the sunshade w/ holes. Makes a big difference. If I could just stop w/ all the performance/vanity mods and buy the things I really need...:L

Try Junk shops !!!!!!!!

The color doesn't matter because you are going to have to paint it anyway. Just make sure that the weather stripping is in excellent condition.

Also l would bring your vette just to make sure it fit's before you buy it.

contemporaty Corvettes lists the tops for $450...have not called them yet to see if they have one.
Still checking ebay for a silver one, as I really do not want to get the top I get painted. The car has 10 year old old paint...so why not the top....it would match better.

Looking for a nice top...not scratchless....heck the car has a few of those, but trying to get this top for under $400 shipped...but I may be dreaming.

JEFNLA....tell me more about this sunshade you have. Have you ever tried putting a tint film on the underside of the glass top?

I ordered it from Mid America I think. Adheres by static cling. Worth every penny. Can still see through the top but it kills the heat factor immensely.

When I first bought my car in 7/04 I suffered big time. No tint, clear top = miserable in AZ summer. Had the windows tinted - limo tint in the rear w/ darkest legal on the sides & 4" or 5" strip across the top of windshield (really helps when driving into the sun). Also bought the sunshade w/ holes. Summer of 05 I was stylin'. Big improvement w/ the tint & the sunshade. So much so that I put aside the need to purchase a solid top. I can't imagine that at this point there is that much to be gained coolness-wise by adding the solid top although for rigidity purposes I'd like to have one at my disposal. I've heard that they keep the car more quiet inside and a bit more rigid as well. With the addition of my headers, quiet is no longer a reality in my life. BUT I LOVE IT!

btw...I've heard that tint won't adhere to the acrylic top. Get the sunshade.
