Which Side Was Hit?

I was pulling the inside door panels off because the windows were loose and so on.

The passenger door has no paint under the inside panel. I didn't think anything of it until I pulled the door panel off the driver side. Fully painted.

The info tag on the inside of the passenger door is also painted over so I am assuming that it was the drivers side that was hit/redone/repainted ... blah blah blah.

Any chance I am correct?

I have original doors, and they are not painted inside. There is some overspray as expected.

The doors were factory painted behind the trim panels, but not inside the door. There would be some overspray inside the door. If the passenger side door is not painted and has the trim tag painted over chances are it's been hit on that side. A good look from underneath the car will usually show if body panels have been replaced.
