Question: Which wheels?????

I am getting conflicting opinions on the following question. Do you hurt the value of your Vette if you don't put Corvette style wheels on the car? I am looking to purchase new wheels for my 99 Coupe and I have been looking to do something "different" other than the Corvette style wheels I am seeing everywhere.
I value your opinions and suggestions.

I don't think that you do, but keep the old wheels and put them back on the car if you ever sell it!

IMO, I only think you'll hurt the value if you're planning on selling it after the wheels are installed. If you're not going to do that...........mod the heck out of it. But I'd save the original wheels just in case.
