Yesterday while at the swap meet, I looked into a sea of wheels and went fishing - out came a single Dymag...

It was in bad shape and probably could have been had for cheap however, it had a funny band run inside the rim, and a bead of silicone inside :eek

Having just had that conversation last week about another rim, I tossed the rim back into the pond ;)

It was the "second gen" Dymag - 20 bucks to hang on the wall may have been a good deal though :D

You need to get a nice wheel or 2 and stand them up and place a round piece of glass over them. Would make a great end table in the living/family/car room!

nice!

Nice end table!! :D any particular story behind them? did they from any special race car / or are they just normal everyday wheels?

No real exciting tale - I bought them as spares for my Trans Am, when I traded my 89 Vette wheels used previously as end tables, I needed something to sit the remote control on, they fit the bill :upthumbs

I had a set of Nitto 555r extremes on them once, does that make them race wheels now ;)

enjoy! :m

what efficent storage!!! Just think...if you had autox tires & rims and street you could jsut store them in the living room as end tables, just swap what's under the glass. LOL I can't wait to have my own house to do stuff like this in!
