Who got a great deal at Carlisle

Just curious were there good deals to be found, parts cars etc. I have never been. Sounds like a great place to meet up with old and new friends? Sorry I missed it. thanks. Mark

My wife and I arrived on Thursday and would have purchased a C-1 if we found a good deal. There was a 62 but no one could find the owner for price or information on the car and a 58 that was very rough. I inspected the 58 very close and was interested but there was signs of rust problems so I passed on it. There were numerous restored cars and prices seemed very high for the quality of cars that I looked at. I did not attend the auction and it will be interesting to here what the auction cars brought.



I had a list of parts I need to complete my 63 SWC. I purchased a few original parts but still need quite a few. I did purchase most of my after market parts and have them delivered to Carlisle. This save me a ton on freight.



I always have a great time when I am at Carlisle and did get a chance to meet a few of the CAC members.

I need to be down there next year! It must be great to see so many corvettes and parts in one place. Thanks Ray, sorry you could not find a c1 to bring back , but sounds like you did save alot on shipping parts. Mark
