Hey Jim!

Yup, still got the Twins. Although one of them (the '65 Roadster) damn near wound up becoming an insurance claim. Check out the post by VNV in the Off Road Lounge about what he found in his driveway.

When he drove me back to his place, I asked him if he had any matches in his house. He did. Told him to hide them before I tossed a match in the gas tank :hb

Kid_again,

Had the pleasure of meeting Vietnamvett at Carlisle. I could tell he was a gear head the way he lit up showing me all the mod features (read that improvements) to his red coupe. That 502 looked sweet in the engine bay.

Glad to hear it was just a rod and the nothing more. Wrenchin' on a Vette, regardless of the issue is usually a sweet venture. But, I'm like you...you couldn't have picked a better place to breakdown (even if there was pot holes on the street). Heck, according to that topic there now is a long narrow groove on that street.

Glad you're back on the road!

Regards,

Jim
