I noticed in the pictures I have, that ALL the (B2K) cars I have seen from underneath, have rusted oil pans...

Obviously, this is suface rust on the outside - but why only the Twin Turbo cars??

All cars are original cars, pans having not been off before - Here is a pic of what I am describing:

(Have you checked yours?? And would you powdercoat it, high temp coat it?? Etc.?? )

Maybe the paint crinkles off more easily from the more intense heat exposure?

Is the turbo on the passenger side kicked out more due to the starter?

What's the oil temp on a B2K? Maybe we could compare that to a SNAT?

Hmm... I don't see much rust on mine...

Could it be the salt on those northern roads?

Mine neither....Chris you should send the yours for a few months and the Texas heat will burn it off ;)

I would think a quick trip to the powder coater would cure that forever :)
