Widowed friend has nice looking 1975 to sell. This Vette has a big motor(think 502), nice paint ect but to start it I have to spray a little gas into the intake. I think it is a cold start injector not working.

Can anyone help me with what I need to do to trouble shoot this problem. The ladies late housband was showing this car but it was in storage for over 3 years, now sitting under her deck on a concrete pad.

My email is awilco@hotmail.com please email me or reply to this post if you can help me to troubleshoot the issue or if you are interested in the car.

It is an automatic.

Hi Andy! No interest in the 75, in fact I may be selling my 71, just wanted to say welcome to the CAC from a fellow MAC member. Once I finally get the MAC site up and running you'll be happy to see your drag race picture is the first one in the album:D. My the way, is your Vette the white one or the blue one?

Eric,

Nice talking to you, thanks for the phone call. My car is the blue one. Good luck if you get the project car.

Andy

Hi Andy,

Welcome to the Corvette Action Center. Eric says you are a Solid Axle nut. We need a few more of those around here.

As for the '75 with the 502 do I understand right that it has a fuel injection system? If so , is it aftermarket and do you know what brand it is?

Tom
