Wilcox Seat Foam

Have read several posts on CF from folks not real happy with the seat foam from Wilcox.

Anyone have anything positive to report about their seat foam product?

From what I have been told, Wilcox gets his foam and seat covers from
Corvette America. I have installed Corvette America's leather seat covers &
used their foam . I had a few problems, but that was due to fact that was
my first time . I am real please with the results-

I can speak for the later C3 parts. I bought the covered seat covers on new foam from Wilcox last winter. They came in Corvette America boxes so if there is a problem with Wilcox there is a problem with Corvette America too.

Installation of the base parts was pretty simple, the seat backs was a real challenge, but once they were in they are fine. The only complaint I have is that the new foam isn't as comfortable as the old worn out foam I replaced. It will break in with time. I would recommend the 2" bolster rather than the 4" that I purchased. I am very pleased with Wilcox in general and their customer service is excellent.

Thanks folks..I went ahead and finally bought new leather seat covers ON FOAM from Walt Knoch for $550.00 delivered.....A very good price......

I just searched the forum for a seat foam problem and did not see anyone complaining about our foam. If we have a problem with a defective set, please send me the link so that I can solve it.

I searched under both Wilcox and Willcox (correct).

Morning.....I was looking to purchase a set of seats and foam . Was looking to see who had the best product available. Their were many, many positives about your product, but one thread on Corvette Forum which I read a few times which caused me to not order from Wilcox for this product. The thread had to do with a customer service issue between Wilcox and a fellow CF customer. Whatever transpired in actuality doesn't amtter, just the perceived perception that their may have been a customer service issue. I went ahead and got a great price of $525.00 for leather on foam from Wally Knoch and ordered my new seats from Walt about 8 days ago.
