Will a 69 Big Block Hood Fit a 72?

I haven't been able to get this answer. Can any one help. Please tell me yes? It is cheaper than buying a new one.

Yes it will.

I think you will have to change the hood support to the earlier style.

I've got a 72 bigblock hood on my 68 and had to use the 72 support, which folds instead of telescoping.

An L-88 hood should give you enough clearance as long as you have a single plane intake and a low rise air cleaner.
