;help I'm looking for some advice/help. My EGR CONTROL SOLENOID needs to be replaced. I have an 82 and cannot find one anywhere, when looking in years that are newer than 82 most of the years are the same part, so alas unavailable. The year where I see it is available is a 92 and it looks from the picture that I would have to replace the electrical plug in as well and possibly the vacuum connector that runs to the egr valve. So my question is this would that 92 control solenoid work in my 82?

Happy Holidays

surely, I had to mount it where the valve faced in a different position than the original one, I also had to remove the rubber boot that is on the old valve for the vacuum hose connections and replaced it with rubber hoses to connect the tubing to the valve and lastly I had to also buy the electrical connector for the 92 valve and then splice it into the wiring after I removed the old connector.

Cool :thumb

Do you have a part number for the electrical connector (or a pic)?

Thanks for explaining it!
