A friend of mine is selling his complete system up to the cats from his 2001 Z06. He wants like $1000 for it. First of all, will it bolt up to what I have with the existing manifolds or do I need those as well. The other question is will I gain much with this or should I wait and go aftermarket. I don't want to blow the money if the h-pipe and cats are almost the same as what I have. Thanks for your help.

400 to 500 dollars is about what I have seen being paid for a titanium muffler system from a Z06. One thousand dollars sounds high to me even if it includes other pipes..

Just get the catback dxhaust and forget the rest if its from the cats rearward. I don't see why you need from the cats to the exhaust.

1,000 dollars is way to expensive.

400 to 500 for the catbacks tops..

Just my opinion.

PS I have the manifold/all the pipes w/ both cats sitting in storage and I can't bring myself to say to you a thousand dollars as I'd be ripping you off and I don't even know you.

Buy his titanium catback if you like the sound of the exhaust for 400 to 500 and bolt it up in 15 minutes on a lift.

Well said. Just by Borla stingers for $650.

It will work you can get a ti one for about $500.

These are available all day long for anywhere from $350 to $600. Its a bolt in that takes less than 1 hour but you gotta get the back end of the car up at least 2.5 feet. A muffler shop should only charge you for about 1 to 1.5 straight labor. Its a good swap if you are looking for slightly better sound and a much better look over the stock tips. If you want alot more sound, go with an aftermarket, but I suggest you go to a show/meet and listen to other aftermarket systems and talk to the owners of the cars. Each aftermarket system has its own "personality".

I agree with all that...it'll bolt up, but he wants too much...
