I'm a new Corvette owner and just came across this vendor for the first time tonight.

http://www.yankeelady.com/willcox/

I looked them up online and saw some very positive feedback on a few other sites. Up front they appear to be about 15%-35% cheaper than any other online part stores I've seen.

I am wondering if anyone here has heard of or possibly used them in the past. If so, let me know your experiences before I give them a couple of thousand dollars for parts.

Thanks in advance.

I have bought parts from them for both my '66 and my '71. I've always been very pleased. They do have great prices.

Thanks Rich,

Glad to hear that. I submitted a parts list to them already. Hopefully I'll get their reply in the next few days.

I just didn't want to dump that much money in their lap without some feedback.

Thanks again,
Wade

Hi Wade,
What parts do you have on your list?
I may be able to get you a better deal.

T-Top Pad LH, T-Top Pad RH, Heat/Sound Barrier, Carpet-all w/pad, Door Panel-LH, Door Panel-RH, Map Pockets, Pillar Posts, Rear compartment frame, Rear compartment-Doors, Rear Window Trim, Rear Window Frame, Seat Covers, Seat Foam, Console Data Plate, sill plates, Parking Brake console pad, Door Pulls, Headlight knob -

Medium Saddle (1974)

This is just the interior list that I'll be replacing for sure. The rest I'm planning on re-dyeing, if cleaning it doesn't do the trick. Also, there are probably some items I don't even know I need yet.

I'm also going to be updating the engine compartment, paint, wheels/tires, exhaust, suspension, brakes, sound-system ... and probably others that I'm forgetting.

Any help will be appreciated. I'm not planning on entering any car shows with her, but I am planning on turning a few heads with a clean, drivable ride.

Thanks,
Wade

Hi Wade,
On the interior pieces Wilcox can't be beat on his prices. Everything comes from Corvette America and ACC carpet. Be sure to check his ebay specials.
The suspension, brakes, and mechanical I can definitely save you money.

i have bought from wilcox many time in the not to distant past. they sell top quality products and their customer support is second to none in my opinion. if you "shop" for prices, i don't think they can be beaten on any of their "package" type deals (most of theior packages are for interior parts and supplies). i am about to purchase an entire interior from the cowl back and the floors up from them. i have yet to find anyone who can compete price and quality wise with them. even those supplies with "holiday" specials couldn't match their product quality and pricing. they sell corvette america seat coverings, etc and dash replacements (and perhaps other interior parts also). they also have a very good supply of NOS parts.

again, just an opinion, but i don't think you'll be disappointed dealing with them.

Thank you for the reply.

I, too, am planning on getting a couple of their interior kits. My project requires either replacemnt or restoration of virtually every interior piece.

It's nice to know that others have had good experiences with a group prior to me sending them that much money.

Thanks again for the information.

Wade

Just before christmas I too took advantage of Wilcox interior package, if ordered by Dec.28th free shipping. They were super to work with and what I received was better than I imagine it would be; I wasn't dissapoint at all. What they had on the website wasn't exactly what I wanted, call them and asked about 100% leather, wasn't a problem. I'll order from them again for my needs.

Wade,

StingRay6974 may not specialize in interior parts but he is the Man around here for mechanical parts/service. He has helped me with a lot of parts on my '79.

I ordered carpeting for my Grand Sport from Willcox last summer. They were great to deal with, extremely prompt in delivery and by far, the best price!!

I've used Wilcox for 6 or 7 of my projects and agree their price and quality are great. Also they will get you anything a project needs not just the advertised items. Just call and tell them your needs and they will be priced better than most catalogs. Also you could check with Wally Knoch on this forum and he will help you with prices from Al Knoch interiors. Probably the best quality out there but a little more expensive. Doc Rebuild is the best for every fastener, bolt, nut and restoration part but not interior prices. Hope this helps during your restoration. Fred

Thanks Fred, and everyone....

I've restored a few other cars, but this is my first vette. All this information is very valuable and appreciated.

Thanks again!
Wade
