Hey guys. I'm thinking about replacing my window tracks as part of my interior restoration. I have electric windows. Just trying to gauge the level of difficulty. Please provide any information, advice, tips, etc. if you have tackled this before. Thanks.

if there is nothing wrong with the tracks leave them be,a little grease will help them alot.
They aren't that difficult to get out and back in as most of the adjustments are on the window itself....
if you want to clean them up...

Try brake clean on a rag....not sure what it will do to fiberglass if you just spray it in there....

Update: I pulled both windows out of the doors. I discovered that the rollers were in bad shape. In fact, my windows had 3 to 4 inches of play in the up position. After replacing the rollers, adjustments were a lot easier. I also cleaned and greased my door lock mechanism while the glass was out.
