My passenger side power window is loose....looser than the driver side.
With the window down a few inches, i can "slide " it front to back freely for a few inches. Its like if the door didnt exist, i could just slide it off the track.
With the skin off i can see the nuts seem tight that hold the glass to the track...its the track that seems to be moving in the , riser "arms" i will call them...the drivers side dont do this and gives me no trouble...the power motor seems to be fine and the mechanics of it seem ok...i just dont see what would keep it from sliding front to back....sometimes when i close the door it hits the tower for the top....anyone have this kind of problem and cure?
Thanks, Chas:w

Mine did the same thing, I replaced all the guides and slides in the door. Each window ran around 60.00 for parts. I do have the parts breakdown, but some may just need cleaned. There is a stopper at the end, yours may just be missing or need of adjustment.

Same here. They used to have the repair instructions at Zip but when they remodeled their site they took all of this down. A wealth of information that is unfortunately MIA. I have a copy scanned and in PDF form on my web page. The pictures didn't come through very well but the instructions may be of some help.

My driver`s side window is loose in a different way.Not front to back but it shakes side ways, this is noticable when the window is half way up and the door is shut, there is a rattle.I believe it is due to the weatherstripping in the door main that is generally rotted. It secures the window at the top of the door.Anyone else have this issue?
Thanks BBF:confused

There are a couple of anti-rattle strips/pads on the top of the door that can be adjusted/replaced. However, the rattle can also be caused by worn out plastic pieces that attach the window to the track.
