My driver's side window quit working. The cables are the problem, the motor works fine.My question is, What do I need to order and what is it called? I keep searching under window regulator and it just brings up the motor. Here are a few pics of my door. I would appreciate any help or links I can go to,so that i can order this thing.

Thanks,

Casey,
I've never heard of SMP, either. You might start by looking at the dates of the postings on that thread. If they are relatively old, SMP may no longer be in business.

I found a company on the web named regulator usa and they sell rebuilt regulators for 175,free shipping. They use stronger cables too. Also, if you send them your old broken regulator, they send you back 40 dollars. So, I have 135 tied up in a window regulator. They will also rebuild your regulator for 105 bucks.Just thought I would pass that along.I don't know if anyone has done business with this company ,but I'll let you know how it all shakes out.

I received the regulator assembly from regulator usa.I removed my old regulator and installed the new one in about an hour.I raised and lowered the window a few times ,made one or two adjustments and that was it.I am sending my old one back to receive a fifty dollar credit.I was very pleased with the outcome! I highly recommend this.I will use them again if need be .
