I really do not want to put my C4 away for the winter. There will be nice clear cold days here in MA, when the V8 will love the dense cold air and run like no other time. I fully realise that driving in snow is not an option and subjecting the car to slush and salt is bad, still there will be days as described when a run in the cold will be fun. Am I alone in this thinking or will I see the odd corvette out and about in the winter.

nope, thats why they have heaters ;LOL I will be driving mine unless there is snow or ice on the road; that is IF I can get it out of my driveway :D :D

Mush! Mush!

Due to unforseen circumstances I'm forced to drive my car this winter. Fortunately it's only about a mile each way to work. Every place else I have to go (food, etc) is even less distance. I just plan on keeping my distance from the other traffic. Other drivers scare me the most. I can also hit the girlfriend up for a ride when necessary.

I agree with the idea that unless there is snow and ice on the roads, weekend drives are still to be taken during the winter. I realize Jersey doesn't get near as much snow as New England, but we get enough to sometimes bog us down for several days at a time.
Rides to the Jersey shore can be better in that there are very few vehicles going in that direction. Fewer cars to get in the way. Fewer Badge Boyz hiding in the trees.
