The fun part of this whole winter project is 95% complete, my engine restoration. I must say, it exceeded my expectations !! Even my wife who is not a car person said and I quote, "Oh, how pretty." :confused

Spent the second half of the weekend, chipping, scraping, sanding, & cleaning the engine bay preparation for painting. This is not nearly as much fun as the last phase was!! I am still trying to figure out my engine bay painting strategy. I will probably being doing it in small sections.

This winter project all started with replacing my radiator with a Dewitt's aluminum. One thing led to another and I ended up pulling the whole engine for a full cleanup!! More pics to follow as the job progresses !!

THAT is well done ;) Looks GREAT. Projects like this are very rewarding :beer once it's done you can REALLY feel proud and have a since of occomplishment :dance which will be rewarded at each and every car show you go too ;) Nothing says class like a shinny motor in glass :D (FiberGLASS that is) :beer

Nice job John :upthumbs and thanks for sharing...

Wow! Nice job!!
It looks like you went with an aftermarket clutch fan assm??? Had you considered going to a lower mass flex-fan? You could probably find one in red. Just curious.

The motor looks great John.

Fantastic job, John. Your engine and assembly look great! Be sure to post pics of your engine bay and the final install.
