I know this is a bit early to start this discussion but I wanted to start planning. This is my first Vette and the first time I ever had to winterize a car for storage.

Other then treating the gas and a trickle charger n the battery, is there anything else I should do?

Thx

Yikes!! That Dreaded Winter Storage

There's lot's of theories including some "old wives" tales on the subject, but this thread pretty much covers the most sensible things around storage of your vette. http://corvetteactioncenter.com/tech/care/storage.html

thanks Remo - Just what I was looking fo

Plenty of Info on that link

Now if we could just find a way of winterizing Remo that doesn't involve having to remember to give him his meds. :L

pssshhht don't let my vette hear about all this winter crap. It probably wont start in the morning now... :L

What Winter??

My girlfriend made a good point..

Do I really think that Im gonna put the car away for the entire winter?? I was actually thnking about taking her off the insurance and everything. NO WAY!!

I'm sure there will be plenty of winter days where I can take her out and stretch her legs!

I feel the same way. As long as no salt/sand is on the roads, and snow isn't in the forecast. I will usually take the vette out and drive her a little. Sitting is worse for these cars then driving them.

my cars in the garage at home ii just washed it and filed the tank. I have a trickle charger ill hook up. I'm at college now so i cant drive my car and its KILLING ME!
