Wipers are not working so removed the motor and cleaned it up. Before reinstalling it I ran it for a minute or so and it started to smoke and also would not park properly. There are several people and companys in the U.S. that can do the repairs but before I send it there I was wondering if anyone on here knows of a Canadian or Canadian company that can do the work. Thank you.

Regards, Bob

Cannot help you with the smoke problem ;shrug but the park mechanism needs the wiper blade/windshield drag to park. (Armature inertia carries it past the "dead" spot.)

Update. I received my wiper motor from Steve Hackel. He did an excellent restoration and repair on it. I thought it was a brand new unit when I first opened the box. Amazing. Very quick turn around as well. He came highly recomended and did not disappoint. Steve Hackel 708-687-4183:thumb
