Help! wiper problems

My windshield wipers on my 98 corvette won't quit working. I have replaced the motor twice and it doesn' help. It will go on and off by itself . Sometimes the switch has no control over it. When I bought the car they had removed the fuse when I put the fuse in the fuse box the windsheild wipers wouldn't quit working. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'd replace the switch or at least pull it apart and look
