Does anyone know anything about getting the wipers to work on the 81? I have tried a new motor, switch, ground wire. May be a stick of dynamite ?

Have you checked to see if there is power going to the motor???
fuse ok???

Have you checked the relay and the pulse unit?

I checked the fuse and it looked good, and I was working on checking the power to the motor. It has the three prong spade connector to the motor, which one is the power ?

Hi Mike the relay seemed like it was working. Right now nothing is working on it, but when it was doing anything ,the delay was the only thing working.

Start by checking the motor.

If motor ok, move on to the wiring. Bridge out the delay module with a jumper cable.

Let us know what you find.

I had a chance to work on the car. I bench tested the wiper motor like the Willcox video showed and everything worked just fine. Fast, slow, and park. I then took my test light and checked the power wire going to the wiper motor, and I had power. I disconnected the delay module and placed my jumper cable inline and turned the power on and the wipers run all the time on high. the switch had no controlover it. I then took the jumper cable out and connected the delay module and the wipers would only work on delay. the switch still had no control over it.

Could someone tell me which ground wires affect the wipers system. I got my wipers to work on low and high they just wont stop and park. any help would be great. Thanks

There is a ground on the frame below where the cluster plugs into and thru the fire wall.you.there are more on the Yvette.

Thanks Bill are you refering to the ground on the piller post, on the driver side? if so do you know of any other ground for the wipers ? I am really scratching my head on this one.

Its down on the frame,behind the front wheel.
