I’m interested in buying an additional 1956 Wonderbar Radio that I can upgrade to accept CD’s but will still look like an original. I realize there are companies that specialize in old radio conversions that maintain the old look but with a flip of the front face you’ll have a CD player. Does anyone know who does this type of work? Thanks.
 
There used to be a place in Sterling Heights, MI., called Radio and Wheel Cover World that used to do that kind of work, but they either relocated or are now out of business.

Maybe someone else here knows more about them. :beer
 
I don't know if anyone converts the originals. Corvette Central offers some replacements... try this url:
