Won't start after overheating

Got caught in traffic left lane and noticed overheating.

By tine I got over to safety My 89 wont start--after the tow home still off---is there a re-set in ecm etc that might help?

replaced the 436 fan relay---because i had one. but still kaput--

It is running!

Thanks for the reply---I make the following scientific, knowing and totally stupid observations.

* I don't know spit about Christmas or the c4 cooling system.

*I suffered from the heated starter syndrome-initially.

*Then I suffered from the overheated C4 owner syndrome.

*Started this morning----missing coolant resevior cap---fan on at 226%, then low coolant light on

*runs smooth---ac on- fan on

Make sure you top off your coolant. Under the hood there should be a plastic container (resevoir tank). On the side of the tank there are two lines marked "cold & "hot" The fluid level should be at one of these markings dependant on the engine temps.
Don't forget to replace your radiator cap. If it is lost, go to any auto parts store and they can assist you in getting the right cap
