woodgrain interior 81 vette

hello, I have a 81 and the wood interior is original and need replacing the thing is if at all possible I would like to go with something like carbon fiber or atleast something other then wood. Is there anything else out there?

I have seen the carbon fiber overlays there.

John... there were no factory optional wood interior finishes in '81. Had to be an aftermarket addition. I number of the aftermarket catalogs offer replacement wood covers. Mid America, Eckler's, Corvette Central, ...etc.

I agree with nut that there was no woodgrain dashes and consoles available as an RPO in 1981.
Nut is right, they are available, but I am unsure who has the best price as I am still trying to source reasonably priced parts from the US myself. Freight is a killer!

Corvette Central has them on page 41 of their 1968 to 1982 catalogue.

Corvette America has them on page 36 to 39 of their master catalogue.

Ecklers has them on page 18 to 19 of their catalogue.

Just go to their websites, you will be able to view the products there.
Raptor is right though, the prices are cheaper than the major suppliers
