Well I just got the driveshaft out of her (in case you don't know, I'm in the middle of having to change the clutch, and it is turning out to be a big job). I'm all excited now. I'm sure this is no big deal to you big auto gurus, but this is the first big thing I've really done with her and I'm extactic!

Boys, does it get better than this? The hands are full of grease and I'm happy. :)

But now...onto the transmission!!! :eek :eek

Like JON said IT IS COMING. My dad always told me it isn't a good job if it doesn't draw blood. Get those bolts lose on the back of the drive shaft sure is fun, isn't it.:(

Well keep up the good work and I'm so glad you are having fun. I hope it stays that way for you.

I'm sure the transmission will draw plenty of blood and profanity. ;)

Thanks, guys! :D

Thats great Stallion. Make sure you take the driveshaft to a reputable shop, pay the $100 and have the u-joints pressed out of the driveshaft, replaced and the shaft balanced. I did this to mine this Winter and it is smooth as silk. Some of the best money I have spent on the car.

Half shafts next Winter. It is driving weather in Atlanta.
