wrong front rotors

i ordered rotors and pads from ecklers last month for my 94. the rears went on without a problem but the front rotors(part #32705) from ecklers were thinner and smaller than the ones i had on. i know i dont have the j55 option but i did see JL9 under the console. are these a step up from the standard rotors? i saw some described as "heavy duty" in mid-america and "premium" in ecklers but i always thought that was j55. whats the deal?

There are only two types of brakes that your '94 could have been built with, standard or J55 aka HD. Perhaps your car has been upgraded to J55 at sometime in it's life. Of course other possibilities would be C5 or aftermarket. But I'm assuming you'd know were that the case.
