WTB: Pitman Arm and other stuff for PS

Just wanted to state something you must already know but I had to learn the hard way.
You must use a PS pitman arm. I did the same thing that you are doing. I converted my manual steering 70 to PS. I used the manual pitman and it worked fine until you got close to full left. Then the angle at the valve was too great and the car went full left as hard as it could. I had to shut the engine down. Good thing I did this while the car was still on jack stands.

USE A PS PITMAN ARM ON PS

Seems like a no brainer now, but I was trying to save a few bucks.

Split63,
I just converted my 68 from non PS to PS.
I got a complete kit with hoses, pulleys, pitman arm, idler arm, everything but the belt and fluid from www.volvette.com

Kit doesn't come with instructions but the AIM took care of that. Anything else and a post here took care of it.

I did not pay core charges for the pump, slave cylinder or PS valve.

Completely satisfied!

You need the PS pitman arm - LICS and Dr. Rebuild have them - about $75.00 for used or repro, $125 for NOS.
