I have a nosie reducing distributor cover for a 1982 and I'm not sure what other c-3's. Black plastic with noise reducing aluminum foil on inside. It snaps over the cap that covers the plugs.

I bought it used.
It's in working condition.
I can't use it because I changed my distributor cap,and it doesn'tfit.
It snaps on the plastic ring that covers the plug wire ends.
I bought it from a used parts dealer and payed 75.00
Plus I will have to see what the shipping it.
Let me know what u think.

Your cover is stock. It is for radio interference from the HEI and plug wires. 81 shown, others similar.

But I know what it is for.
But it does not fit with higher performance dist caps.
Also I do not get radio noise.
