You just can't win

I went to a car show yesterday, and living next to a river ( Three Rivers ) I was obliged to cross a bridge that was under construction. Besides almost having my dentures fall out because of the rough surface of the bridge, everyone wanted to get across at the same time, and the cars were coming so close to me, I was afraid to take the same route back.

The only other alternative I had to get back home, was to take a short boat ride. Well guess what, I was not the only one who got this bright idea, so by the time I was able to get aboard, I was squeezed in ( check pic ) with a boatload of other travellers who just happened to have the same idea. Sometimes, you just can't win. :ugh :ugh :ugh

By the way 67heaven, don't ever take this type of ride, because with the clearence under your ride, ( a.k.a. " BANG " ) you wouldn't have been able make it up the loading ramp.

I must admit I was a little nervous myself :W and have decided that I will never repeat this adventure. It was not one of my better ideas.

Brian, we had a great day, there were tons of people around the cars, but in order to have any recogination, or be eligable for any of the awards, the cars HAD to be there two days in a row.

It was one of those crappy VAQ, shows. I'm sure you know the ones.

You are correct, it was Gaetan's 63 in back of mine
