Z-51 spring rates and a rant

Hi
New member here, so here goes.

I was out shopping over the holidays here in san diego and of the four dealers I visited I could not find one who would let me test out a Z-51 or even knew where I could do this locally. The first dealer told me flat out that they did not allow any test drives and he told me this while nodding at the owner sitting 20' away who just got a new Z-51. The second said only after I had signed a contract and had financing (that's a test drive?). The third only let me drive the owners '05 with F55 (for ten minutes). The fourth would not even approach me on the lot and only had one used '05 to boot. What gives? The auto show was in town with the chevy test drive experience and when I called to verify this even they said that they didn't bring a vette to test out. So for all that hastle (have you seen san diego traffic?) I got to check out last year's F55 ride but I'm really thinking of the Z-51 option on an '06. Yes, yes, all the threads say get it, but I'd kinda like to see before I plunk down all that cash. The question is this: Does anyone know the spring rates between the standard, F55, Z-51? I'm looking for an actual ft-lb number. That way I could at least make a semi-informed decision. Thanks

ps. I haven't been this excited about a vette since I "borrowed" my dad's '75 back in high school a few times.
