Z06 convert

Born 1965 in SoCal, Corvette was always a car I dreamed of.

When I had a chance to drive my dream Stingray in 1989 I was really let down and ended up in in a Porsche 944 instead. I've had 4 Porsches since and have been SELLING Porsches for the past 11 years in San Diego.

Every once in a while a Vette would be traded in and I'd drive it and reaffirm I'm a Porsche person at heart. But then -

Last week a 2008 Z06 was traded in. Only 600 miles, black with 2-tone full leather, Navi, Xm hmmm.... And another Vette effort was made. WOW! Nearly as good as the $140k GT3 and I can afford the Z06!!!!!

I sold my Porsche yesterday and bought the Z06 today.

Now, what will I tell my customers??? ;^)

Hate to hear of your dilemma - maybe you can hide your enthusiasm for Corvettes and tell potential buyers it's "nearly" as good as a Porsche. :L

the truth usually works, but Porscheophiles won't hear anyway.

I have tried to like Porsches for decades but could never quite buy one. Guess I'm a Vette dude.

I'm thrilled that now I really do appreciate them both. I really like Jay Lenos' quote about the Z06 - "Tell 'em to shut up and drive it" LOL

Even better I get to drive my new baby home tomorrow. Had to wait to vinyl "wrap" the front today. And I even just ordered the mild-to-wild switch. She'll sound sweet!!
