Z06 On "Grand Turismo 4"...

Well, I've been waiting a year for GT4 to come out, and when it does they blow the Z06. They list the Z06 as a "2000 Z06 Corvette", which we all know is wrong. It has 375 hp (not the 385 of the '01 Z) and '01 color choices. Those are the same specs the Z had in GT3. I doesn't even have a C6, but it has a Ford GT and an '03 Viper. I was hoping to be able to drive a EB Z. Guess I'll buy a black one to match the black '01 I used to have.

I played it at my buddy's house on Sunday. It's not a bad game, I'm not into video games so I turned it off after modding it and running 1/2 a race.:L

I like the detail of what you can do to the cars. I went ahead and bought a Grand Sport and modded that like crazy. I forgot what the HP figures were. I was disappointed that there wasn't the option for a displacement increase. A 383 would've been awesome.

Even though I don't play video games, I was disappointed in playing this game for 10 minutes.

But the intro with the Ford GT and Van Halen's "Panama" is VERY cool, dontcha think?

Those graphics are pretty awesome.

I agree, the intro is pretty cool. Z06 definetly sucks in the game, as do most of the cars. Graphics of the interiors is pretty good, though. I, myself was dissappointed after playing the game. At least my son likes it, so it's not a total loss.

Although, I could play GT3 all day.

Hi Z06 Tom -

I have never played that game - we X-Box some, and have the Corvette game...It has rather boring game-play , and the car dynamics are all wrong, but the cars look fairly good.

You can only pick a 2001 Z06, and as such no EB....but you can build the elusive Mag-Red Metallic Z06....:L

It is kinda cool the have the HUD display on the big-screen TV though...

As far as driving games go, I think Rally Sport 2 for X-box takes the cake - the night driving is simply amazing- no cartoon look here - as close to photo-realistic as I have seen....and great fun to drift the cars.

If any of you want to drive a cool Z in a video game, pick up "Need For Speed, Hot pursuit." It has an EB Z in it, and cops to chase you! I like GT4, I was just diasppointed in the Z.
