I have a black 2002 Z06 and have been looking at the 2006 a lot. But I want to see some side by side photos to compare body style and looks before I commit to giving up my beautiful hardtop... Anybody know where I can see some good comparison pictures??? Thanks!

Hey, thanks--not sure I can give up my 2002, but I sure want the new engine!

Wow! Thanks for the photos! Both stunning cars!

I dig the C6 Z06 in black especially...

What a great car. Really beautiful and the performance is without a doubt the best in the world.

Love my C5 Z06 but its clear theres a new king in town!

Who cares about the looks? :D this thing is reported to be an animal. I am just trying to figure out how I can pay for one.

I would be giving up a 2002 C5 I absoluely love with only 11,000 miles on it.

Good luck with your choice

i'd be a minority opinion, but i wish i kept my c5z06.....it had better road feel and steering feel.

the 06z06 is okay but somehow the driving feel has been taken out of the car. if you could get the LS7 poewr level in the c5z06, i'd recommend to anyone who would listen to stick with that.

FWiw...I think the steering feel could be improved upon by dumping the runflats...on the C6 Z06 as soon as non runflat sizes are available....

I'm not a big fan of runflats and I would imagine thats what your sensing...

thanks for the advice. i have been hopeful that it is all due to the runflats and then it would be an easy fix.

removing runflats on another car made a decent improvement.

Very interesting opinion. As far as the run-flats, my wife's car has them (2001 coupe) and while it is no comparison for the Z06, I never thought it was a problem with the tires.

well, i 'think' it's the runflats.

the c6z51 supposedly has much more power under the curve than the c5z06 yet if you go to spring mountain, all of the drivers in my class were faster in the c5z06 (instructors are, too) and this agrees with Chevy testing that says the c6z51 with better power is still a tad slower than the c5z06.

the main differentiator is that the c5z06s run slightly wider, softer tires.
