Howdy

Looking at a 2002 C5 but it has the Z51 package. Will it give me a "harsh"ride on normal roads? This car will never see the track so I'm wondering about the advisability of the Z51 option in my situation.

Hi Mark,

I am a 63 year old retiree with a 2001 Z51 coupe. We have driven 20,000 miles (none on a track) since April, 2001 and have encountered very few situations that were rough. I have no regrets about the Z51.

The best possible solution is to drive both over a variety of roads and decide.

Hope this helps,

White with Red..............

Oh my, I love that white with red car. I looked and looked and could not find one for sale.

Mine is white with oak interior, nice but!

Bob

Bob,

Thanks for the compliment. I did the White with Red as a tribute to the 1953 Corvette and to the 1957 Sebring Corvette production based racers.

I ordered my 02 with the Z51 and to me, it does not ride uncomfortable at all.

I have had passengers comment on the excellent ride, in fact.

Oh yeah and it handles great!
