Question: ZF S6-40 6 speed manual trans

What is the deference between the black Label ZF S6 -40 6 speed and the Blue Label that came out later , and which one is better for racing ?

If I understand correctly the early model has straight gear teeth and the later has curved gear teeth. I think I read that the earlier version is just a little stronger.
