ZF6: how to bleed clutch fluid?

I have a feeling I should do this when I had the new fluid (I will buy the GM Saturday). Can't find it in my quick look at shop manual.

Is there a valve for this? Or do I just shift gears and keep adding fluid?

Bleeding the air out in your 93 is easy. Make sure the car is on level ground and take off the cap on the master cylinder. Make sure the fluid level is good. Depress the clutch pedal slowly and you will be able to see the bubbles rising out of the master. Repeat this untill there are no more bubbles. If you don't see bubbles right away your slave is likely not working right. This should only take 5-10 mins total. Do keep an eye on the fluid level so that it doesn't get too low.

It's not as complicated as most people make it.

Thanks, Mike. I did that this weekend, w/ the GM fluid.

BTW, the GM fluid cost me $12.50 for 15 fl oz at the dealer, brake fluid cost me $1.25 at Sears for 12 fl oz. Do I have to find a better dealer or is this the norm?

I've never used the GM stuff myself. As a matter of fact, I know nothing about it. I just use Dot 3 brake fluid. Is this some sort of wonder fluid or something? Maybe I should look into it?
