ZR-1 get together.

Are there any ZR-1 owners in the Houston TX area that would be interested in having a get together. I was thinking of having it where they have the nifty fifties car show every Saturday night. The parking lot is plenty big. There are plenty of places to eat all around plus we could check out all of the other cool cars at the show. Just putting the feelers out to see if there is any interest. Or if there are even any other zr1's in town. Have not not seen any.

just a thought , why dont you get ahold of corey and see if he might put together a texas zr1 get together, maybe a 2 day deal . with a little drag strip action etc . hmmm i might have to make a drive if it came to pass

Hey brad how have you been buddy. That's a great idea. I was driving the z home from work friday evening and when I went to shift into 3rd gear my clutch pedal went all the way to the floor. Cost me $145 to have the recker haul her home in traffic. So I suspect my slave or master cylinder went poo poo kakaa on me. I've been to lazzy to go fool with it this weekend. And I'm sure you remember just about a month ago what I went through swapping out both exhaust manifolds. But this will be an easy fix compared to that. You should have seen the evil look my wife gave me when she said(OK RICK, SO HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST US TO FIX)? And I gently Wraped my arms around her and said (BABY, YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU RIGHT)! As I'm trying not to laugh. So I will get her a nice extra big buquet of roses today for mothers day. I'll have it ready when she walks in the door tonight from work. P.S I will mention it to Corey monday.

a little insight on mymuch missed bride .she said for me not to worry about my hobbies. they will make me happy and keep me so busy I wouldnt have any desire to Tepe hop. thinking back on it she was right .all i wanted to do was mess with my car and care about her for her kindness , understanding , and of course practical jokes . i still look inside my golf shoes looking for her little land mines in them
